International News See Who's Joining London Concert World Premiere of Figaro: An Original Musical

Written by Ashley Jana and Will Nunziata, the original musical will play the London Palladium.

Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming London concert world premiere of Figaro: An Original Musical, set to play the London Palladium February 3 and 4, 2025. The new musical features songs by Ashley Jana and a concept and a book by Jana and Will Nunziata, who's also directing.

Newly announced cast members include Daniel Brocklebank (Coronation Street) as Antonio, Ava Brennan (Hamilton, Les 惭颈蝉茅谤补产濒别蝉, Lion King) as Gia, and Cian Service-Eagle (Oliver, Les 惭颈蝉茅谤补产濒别蝉, The Witches) as Gianni. 

As previously reported, Aimie Atkinson will star as Lucia, with Cayleigh Capaldi reprising her work as Sienna from the musical's studio cast album. Jon Robyns (The Phantom of the Opera, Les 惭颈蝉茅谤补产濒别蝉) will play the title role. The cast also includes Sophia Goodman (Matilda The Musical) as Amelia. Maggie Solimine will be in the ensemble and serve as a standby. Casting is by Harry Blumenau.

The new work follows a young singer whose chance encounter with two young orphans and the handsome Figaro may just give her the chance to escape her formerly dull life on her father's farm and make all her dreams come true. A studio album of the score released earlier this year.

The production will feature choreography by Jo Goodwin, music direction by Caitlin Morgan, costume design by Sophia Pardon, set design by Justin Williams, and lighting design by Alex Musgrave. 

Michael Lamon and 23 Productions are serving as lead producers, with Van Dean as executive producer, Andrew Byrnes and Witzend Productions as co-producers, and Carter Dixon McGill Productions as general manager.
