The Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Long Day's Journey Into Night, produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Ryan Murphy, ends its limited engagement June 26 at 2 PM.
The production, which officially opened April 27 following previews that began April 3 at the American Airlines Theatre, will have played 22 previews and 62 regular performances.

Directed by , the production is part of Roundabout's 50th anniversary season.
Two鈥恡ime Academy Award winner and three鈥恡ime Emmy Award winner plays Mary Tyrone, following her Olivier Award鈥恘ominated performance in the role on the West End in 2000. She recently won a Tony for her work in the Broadway run. She is joined by Tony Award nominee as James Tyrone, Academy Award nominee as James Tyrone, Jr. and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as Edmund Tyrone with as Cathleen.

Long Day鈥檚 Journey Into Night, according to press notes, is 鈥渢he tale of an ordinary summer鈥檚 day with extraordinary consequences. Drawing so heavily from the author鈥檚 personal history that it could only be produced posthumously, the story of the Tyrone family and their battle to unearth鈥攁nd conceal鈥攁 lifetime of secrets continues to reveal itself to audiences as one of the most profound and powerful plays ever brought to the stage.鈥�

Lange has appeared twice previously on Broadway, both times in revivals of Tennessee Williams classics: A Streetcar Named Desire in 1992 and The Glass Menagerie in 2005. She won her Oscars for Tootsie and Blue Sky.
Roundabout's history with O'Neill dates back to 1983 with John Stix鈥檚 production of Ah, Wilderness, starring ; followed by Desire Under the Elms, directed by Terry Schreiber (1984); the Tony Award鈥恮inning revival of , directed by , starring , and (1993); and , directed by , starring Gabriel Byrne (2005).
The previous Broadway revival of Long Day's Journey was presented at the Plymouth (now Schoenfeld) Theatre in 2003 and starred , , and .
