Stephen Schwartz: Defying Gravity鈥擫ive in Concert will be presented September 29 at 7:30 PM at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta.
Joining composer-lyricist Schwartz on stage will be Broadway's Matthew James Thomas, Keri Rene Fuller, and Michael McCorry Rose; Maltese artists Ira Losco and Destiny; and internationally recognized Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja.
The performers will be backed by the 70-piece Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by British music director Ian MacGregor. Thomas will direct the evening with associate direction by Max Hunter.
Attendees can expect to hear songs from Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Godspell, Pippin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas, Enchanted, The Baker's Wife, Geppetto, and more.
