Readings and Workshops Sweeney Todd Tony Winner Len Cariou Set for Reading of Zaglada

Dan Wackerman will direct the free reading of Richard Vetere's new play.

As Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd prepares to head back to Broadway, the musical's original, Tony-winning title player, Len Cariou, will take part in a one-night-only staged reading of Richard Vetere's Zaglada.

Directed by Dan Wackerman, the reading will be held January 23 at Theatre at St. Clement鈥檚. Show time is 7 PM.

Cariou will be joined on stage by Lou Martini, Jr., Maja Wampuszyc, and Jes Washington.

窜补驳艂补诲补 follows a 90-year-old Polish man living in Maspeth, Queens, who is exposed by an African-American journalist as having been a Kapo in Buchenwald. 

Casting is by Robin Carus.

Theatre at St. Clement鈥檚 is located at 423 West 46th Street. Admission is free of charge.
