News TEDxBroadway Conference, With Pasek and Paul and The Lion's Benjamin Scheuer, Held Today at New World Stages The annual TEDxBroadway conference, bringing together innovative minds and industry experts to help shape the future of Broadway, is held Feb. 23 at New World Stages, beginning at 11 AM.

Speakers include Jonathan Mann, who has written and promoted a song a day since 2009; standup comedian, writer and actor Phoebe Robinson; Adam Sobel, a professor at Columbia University鈥檚 Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences who specializes in the dynamics of climate and weather; writer, performer and activist , who has performed in , , and ; and @BroadwayGirlNYC, who runs one of the most-followed theatre accounts on Twitter and leads interactions between fans, shows, industry insiders and performers in the world of "showcial" networking.

The conference will also feature author, screenwriter and playwright (, The Invisible Hand); Kevin Lyman, creator and producer of the Vans Warped Tour; singer-songwriter Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion); Leslie Koch, president of the Trust for Governors Island; Kacie Hultgren, who has worked in set design on Disgraced and and also works in 3-D printing; and computer scientist and data analyst Ben Wellington.
