The Wallis鈥� The Pride Cast Announced
The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present Alexi Kaye Campbell鈥檚 The Pride from June 8鈥揓uly 9. The production, directed by Michael Arden, will mark its Los Angeles premiere. Antaeus Production Extended
Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, currently running at Antaeus鈥� new home in Glendale, has been extended through May 14th. Williams鈥� story about a family breaking down and falling apart opened on March 23 and was originally scheduled to close May 7. Man Of La Mancha Extended
A Noise Within鈥檚 current production of Man Of La Mancha, starring Geoff Elliott as Don Quixote, has been extended through June 4. The musical tells the story of the 鈥渕ad鈥� knight and his faithful sidekick Sancho Panza. Shakespeare Summer Camp for Youth
A Noise Within is also gearing up for their Summer With Shakespeare 2017. Open to young artists between the ages of 6-18, the program is a five-week summer camp in Pasadena. From June 12鈥揓uly 14, young artists will spend the time learning about Shakespeare and some of the tools necessary to understanding and performing his plays. YouthS will take workshops focusing on acting, stage combat, mask work, voice, movement, stagecraft, and design. For more information, visit .
Celebration Theatre Postpones Cabaret
The upcoming production of Kander & Ebb鈥檚 musical Cabaret, produced by the Celebration Theatre, has been postponed. The production was scheduled to run from May 26 through July 2. I Carry Your Heart, by Georgette Kelly is coming to the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles for a limited engagement. This will mark the production's L.A. premiere.
