The show, laced with music, story and Nayfack's signature wit, traces her pilgrimage for gender confirmation surgery in Thailand. Tickets from $25; 9:30 PM.  Wednesday, Sept. 23: Spend an evening at 54 Below with , who recently made his Broadway debut in  is a concert that blends comedy, story and music. Don't go home yet! Tony winner returns to 54 Below with a brand-new show dedicated to . In , Ripley explores the lyrics and enduring melodies, and revisits some of the classic Sondheim characters she's played. Tickets $45; 9:30 PM.

Thursday, Sept. 24: Sondheim fans come gather once more, this time at Birdland. Join concert pianist Anthony de Mare as he pays tribute to the legendary composer in . Classic Sondheim songs are re-imagined by acclaimed composers from around the world, drawing from the worlds of pop, jazz, classical and more. Tickets from $25; 6 PM.

Friday, Sept. 25: Joe's Pub kicks off its year-long retrospective of Mx 鈥檚 career with a revival of the original trailblazing cabaret, . The show paved the way for what became Bond and 's signature act, Kiki and Herb. Performances run through Oct. 4; tickets $25. 

Saturday, Sept. 26: Spend your Saturday night in the company of a handsome Frenchman. You may recognize , the star of French comedy, from films like 's "Midnight in Paris" or 鈥檚 "The Adventures of Tintin," or perhaps you saw him opposite Audrey Tatou in the romantic comedy "Priceless." Performed entirely in English, Elmaleh brings his comedic one-man-show to the stage at Joe's Pub. Running through Dec. 6; tickets are $25.
