News Tony Contender Something Rotten! Surpasses $1 Million at Box Office Something Rotten!, the original Broadway musical comedy that is among the Tony Award contenders for Best Musical, surpassed the million dollar mark at the box office for the first time since previews began March 23 at the St. James Theatre.

Produced by Tony Award winner , ! has consistently increased its weekly box-office take since previews began, finally hitting $1,064,165 for the week ending May 24.
