International News Vanessa Fisher Replaces Linzi Hateley in Toronto's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Tosh Wanogho-Maud has also joined the company of the Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice musical.

Vanessa Fisher has replaced the previously announced Linzi Hateley as the Narrator in the London Palladium production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which arrives at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre December 11.

Fisher starred in the same role in the 2019 run at the Palladium; Hateley, who was due to play the part in the Canada engagement, has withdrawn due to personal circumstances. Also joining the Toronto company in the role of the Pharaoh is Tosh Wanogho-Maud, who was recently seen as one of the Drifters in the West End musical The Drifters Girl.

The 25-member cast also includes Jac Yarrow in the title role with Erica-Jayne Alden as Dan鈥檚 Wife, Shane Antony-Whitely as Issachar, Natalie Bennyworth as Naphtali鈥檚 Wife, Jabari Braham as Levi, Ben Brooker as Tailor/Guard, Gemma Buckingham as Levi鈥檚 Wife, Meg Darcy as Asher鈥檚 Wife, Tyler Ephraim as Dan, Zac Frieze as Asher, Matt Gibson as Reuben, Will Hawksworth as Simeon, Samuel John-Humphreys as Tailor/Guard, Amber Kennedy as Simeon鈥檚 Wife,  Abbie Platts as Reuben鈥檚 Wife, Samantha Shuma as Tailor/Cook, Sam Stones as Naphtali, and Holly Willock as Issachar鈥檚 Wife. Swings are Thalia Burt, Alexander Day, Iv谩n Fern谩ndez Gonz谩lez, Claire Lander, and Nathan Rigg.

Child actors in this production, some of whom play Joseph's brothers, include Cody Black, Isaac Chan, Chloe Cheung, Jacob Davidov, Jayd Deroch茅, Jessica Du, Evelyn Fu, Isaac Grates-Myers, Jazmin Headley, Cameron Kuwayti, Nendia Lewars, Lavinia Luk, KJ Romani, Emma Grace Stead, Emily Watt, and Charlie Zeltzer.

Directed by Laurence Connor, this new production is choreographed by JoAnn M. Hunter and has set and costumes by Morgan Large, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by John Cameron, and musical supervision and direction by John Rigby.

Performances continue through February 18, 2023.
