Redgrave, who is a friend of Zackheim, will be reading selected passages from the book adapted for the stage. Owens, who was named Jazzmaster 2012, will be performing his own musical compositions on the flugelhorn and trumpet, and will be accompanied by Kenny Davis on bass. The reading, at , will be followed by a reception at AOC restaurant, where Zackheim will sign copies of her novel.
Zackheim is an award-winning visual artist and writer whose earlier published works include "Violette's Embrace," "Einstein's Daughter: The Search for Lieserl" and "Broken Colors."
