Video Video: See John Larroquette Perform 'A Boy From the Bayou' in the Musical Episode of Night Court

Broadway fans will appreciate the March 11 musical episode of NBC's Night Court, titled "A Little Night Court Music." Get a sneak peek at Tony winner John Larroquette singing (and tap dancing to) the original song "A Boy From the Bayou" in the video above. 

The clip also features Melissa Rauch, Lacretta, Wendie Malick, Gary Anthony Williams, Nyambi Nyambi, and returning guest star Richard Kind.

In the new episode, Dan (Larroquette) and Abby (Rauch) work together to turn Dan's memoir into a musical at the behest of producer Sy Hoffman (Kind), and Wyatt (Nyambi) tries to help Julianne (Malick) stay cool when her ex-lover turns up at the courthouse. 

Laroquette made his Broadway debut as J.B. Biggley in the 2011 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, earning a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He returned to the Main Stem the following year as Secretary William Russell in a revival of Gore Vidal's The Best Man, starring alongside James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, and Candice Bergen

Kind was recently seen on Broadway as part of the opening cast of Simon Rich's All In: Comedy About Love. He departed the production January 12. Kind's extensive credits also include Kiss MeKateDirty Rotten ScoundrelsThe Producers; and more. For his performance as Marcus Hoff in the 2013 Broadway production of Clifford OdetsThe Big Knife, he received a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play. 

Nyambi has also graced the Broadway stage, serving as an understudy in the 2009 revival of August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone

Night Court, currently in its third season on NBC, follows the judge, lawyers, and clerks of the night shift at the Manhattan Criminal Court. It is a revival of a sitcom of the same named that aired from 1984 to 1992.
