The fifth episode of The Good Whale, a six-part podcast from Serial Productions, features an original song written by EGOT-winning songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen) with Mark Sonnenblick.
Jordan Fisher, back on Broadway in the Tony-winning Hadestown, performs the new song, "The Ballad of Keiko," in the music video above.
Directed by Carlos L贸pez Estrada and Anna Moskowitz, the recording also features the talents of Quentin Earl Darrington, Brian d鈥橝rcy James, and Paul Alexander Nolan.
The podcast, hosted by Daniel Alarc贸n, tells the epic story of what happened to the most famous orca in history鈥擪eiko, the star of Free Willy鈥攐nce the cameras stopped rolling and Keiko had to learn how to be wild.
