News Watch Maureen McGovern Reimagine American Classic; NYC Concert Dates Announced Maureen McGovern, last on Broadway opposite Sutton Foster in Little Women, will bring her new concert act, Sing, My Sisters, Sing!, to 54 Below March 10-14.

A celebration of women singer-songwriters, the evenings at the intimate nightspot will feature musical director Jeff Harris on piano and Jay Leonhart on bass. McGovern will interpret the works of , Janis Ian, , , , , Laura Nyro and more. .

The Grammy nominee will also be seen in her solo American Songbook concert, which makes its premiere on THIRTEEN April 11 at 1 PM. Included in the concert is McGovern's thrilling reimagining of the 1958 Pete Seeger folk classic "If I Had a Hammer" as well as such tunes as 鈥淎merica,鈥� 鈥淥ld Friends," 鈥淭he Times They Are a Changing," 鈥淲ill You Still Love Me Tomorrow鈥� and the compositions 鈥淏y the Time I Get to Phoenix,鈥� 鈥淢acArthur Park鈥� and 鈥淭he Moon is a Harsh Witness."
