The second season of transports audiences to Schmicago, a darker world of '60s and '70s musicals. The first two episodes dropped April 5, and now we've got a full musical number from the premiere episode: "Do We Shock You?" Watch above.
Heavily inspired by Sweet Charity's "Hey Big Spender," the number pays homage to lots of the Cy Coleman musical and the sexy-forward sensibilities of its original director-choreographer, Bob Fosse. Keep an eye out for steps from Fosse and Sweet Charity's 鈥淏ig Spender,鈥� 鈥淭here鈥檚 Gotta Be Something Than This,鈥� and 鈥淚鈥檓 a Brass Band," set here for Schmigadoon! by Tony-winning series choreographer Christopher Gattelli.
Featured in the cast are such stage favorites as Ariana DeBose, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Jaime Camil, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, and Jane Krakowski, all returning from the series' first season. Joining the group for the second outing are Broadway alum Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page. Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key are also both back to lead the new episodes.
