Off-Broadway's Red Bull Theater will continue its 20th anniversary festival this year with the New York premiere of Bill Cain's thriller God's Spies.
Staged on April 23, William Shakespeare's 460th birthday, the play expands upon the 1603 plague pandemic which shuttered London's theatres, and the theoretical ripple effect his experiences during that shutdown had on his artistry.
The one-night-only production, which will be directed by Nathan Winkelstein, will star Zainab Jah, Zachary Lopez Roa, and Nick Westrate.
