DESCRIPTION
Act First Studios NYC is offering a limited number of $500 and $1000 scholarships to select July & August accepted applicants to be applied to their 6 Month Actor Intensive Programs.
Scholarships are based on referrals, financial need, and creative promise.
Recent graduates of the programs have signed with agencies such as Stewart Talent, Gersh, Innovative Artists, and Stalwart Talent.
This past season on Broadway Act First students were seen and involved in shows including Real Women Have Curves, Sunset Blvd, Othello, and Tammy Faye.
Act First Studios takes pride in training diverse Actors of the Next Generation and is extremely community based.
Currently they have an acceptance rate of 7% to ensure personal and tailored training to their actors.
Students of Act First Studios can take advantage of free rehearsal space, free self tapes/audition coaching, and monthly community events.
