Join Jamibeth and Andrew as we welcome PAUL BOGAEV back to class. Paul has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, on the most iconic projects. Each student will get a full work session with Paul to focus on a 32 bar/90 second cut of their choosing. You will have the chance to apply his adjustments and perform your cut again. Bring your book in case you are asked for more.

**BIOS:
PAUL BOGAEV is a multi-award-winning music director, arranger, conductor, and composer. He earned his first Grammy Award for his work on Elton John and Tim Rice鈥檚 AIDA, for which he produced, orchestrated, and conducted the Tony Award-winning score. Bogaev served as the music director on Broadway for a range of productions, including TARZAN, BOMBAY DREAMS (Tony nom., Best Orchestration), SUNSET BOULEVARD, ASPECTS OF LOVE, CHESS, LES MIS脡RABLES, JOSEPH鈥�, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, CATS, and THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, featuring Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.
鈥˙ogaev was enlisted to "doctor" SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, collaborating with Bono and The Edge to enhance the musical performance and sound. He conducted Trevor Nunn鈥檚 Olivier Award-winning production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF in London and later served as the musical director for the revival of Stephen Sondheim鈥檚 PACIFIC OVERTURES.
鈥℉e has worked on films such as the Oscar-winning CHICAGO (which won a Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack), NINE, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, DREAMGIRLS, CONNIE AND CARLA, as well as animated features like THE LION KING, TARZAN, MULAN, and THE EMPEROR鈥橲 NEW GROOVE. He served as the music director for ABC-TV鈥檚 Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, ANNIE (earning an Emmy Award), and SOUTH PACIFIC.
鈥˙ogaev has collaborated with stars such as Sting, Phil Collins, U2, ABBA, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Hugh Jackman, Glenn Close, Toni Braxton, Jennifer Hudson, Kristin Chenoweth, Jamie Foxx, Daniel Day-Lewis, Pen茅lope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Judi Dench, Liam Neeson, Harry Connick Jr., Drew Barrymore, Whoopi Goldberg, Toni Collette, Kathy Bates, Sophia Loren, and Kate Hudson.
鈥˙ogaev's creativity shines in his stage production of THE THREE MUSKETEERS, which enjoyed a successful four-year run in Europe. Recently, he recorded THE GETTYSBURG ADDRESS, accompanied by his original score with the narration of Glenn Close. He has captivated audiences with his one-man show, NO SURRENDER Songs by Bruce Springsteen and Tom Waits, garnering unanimous praise during its run in London and currently in preparation for a US tour. As a music student at the Juilliard School and concurrently an acting student at the Stella Adler Conservatory, He showcased his talents by starring in productions such as HAIR and Arthur Miller鈥檚 UP FROM PARADISE at the Kennedy Center.
鈥℉e was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Theatre in 2023.

JAMIBETH MARGOLIS has been casting in NYC for 20+ years. She runs her own casting office and also works as a stage director. She previously served as casting director for many of Broadway鈥檚 longest running shows such as CATS, LES MISERABLES, MISS SAIGON, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and more. Last season, Jamibeth cast HARMONY on Broadway. Other recent theatre casting: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF In Yiddish (Off Broadway/Artios Award Winner For Casting), HARMONY (Reading and National Yiddish Theatre), several shows at the Fulton Theatre and Maine State Music Theatre. Currently casting director for the National Yiddish Theatre, HOUSE OF MCQUEEN (Off-Broadway) and for many readings and workshops for plays and musicals around NYC. MFA in Directing from University Of Idaho.

ANDREW WHEELER is a musical director, orchestrator, vocal technician and coach. Broadway: WAITRESS, SHUFFLE ALONG. Off-Broadway: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF in Yiddish (Dir. Joel Grey, Drama Desk winner), AMERIKE-THE GOLDEN LAND, GOLDEN BRIDE (NYTF; Drama Desk Noms.), URINETOWN (Araca), NAKED BOYS SINGING, NEWSical (Theatre Row), BURLESQUE TO BROADWAY (Tour) & numerous Regional. Albums: PABLO, AFTER HAPPILY EVER AFTER. TV/Film: MONICA'S MIXING BOWL (w/ John Tartaglia), TRIPLE THREAT (feature film available on iTunes). Andrew鈥檚 orchestrations are included in the pops touring concert LIVE FROM BROADWAY, and are regularly licensed by orchestras around the country. Orchestrated and supervised a world premiere country musical which featured five #1 BILLBOARD Hits, with choreography by Emmy Winner, Tyce Diorio. As a vocal technician and coach, Andrew鈥檚 clients work on Broadway, TV, off-Broadway and in major tours and concerts.
