Studio Seaview is a commercial rental venue housing a 296-seat theatre and a studio space located at 43rd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan. Reporting directly to the Box Office manager, the Treasurer is responsible for selling tickets and providing exceptional customer service to all.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure superior customer service with members of box office and front-of-house staff across all channels (phone, email, and in-person)
Sell tickets to patrons in person from the box office window on performance days.
Distribute tickets for will-call on performance days
Scan tickets and welcome patrons
Maintain communication with the front of house team, company management, and venue staff through will call
Efficiently communicate information on current and future productions to patrons
Maintain the box office bank for cash sales
Other box office duties as assigned
NECESSARY SKILLS
Working knowledge of box office and ticket operations preferred
Strong communication skills
Customer and sales experience
An ability and interest in learning new ticketing and operating systems
Cash Handling
HOURS
Flexible weekend and evening availability required
10-20 hours per week during production
