Regional Soloist- RWS Global and Holland America Line have partnered to create a one-of-a-kind music experience on board luxury cruise ships. We鈥檙e searching for talented soloist musicians who perform Celtic music as well as regional music from British Isles, Eastern Canada, Iceland, Scandinavia and the USA. Performers may play any instrument; backing tracks are not required but encouraged. The ability to connect with the audience, tell stories and educate guests about the musical culture of the ship鈥檚 destinations.

Dates and Location- Employment opportunities are year-round on multiple cruise ships with world-wide itineraries. If you鈥檝e ever wanted to travel the world, this is the gig for you! Our ships travel to all 7 continents. All travel and lodging is provided. On board contracts vary in length from 4 to 7 months continuous at sea.

Salary and Perks- We offer one of the most competitive salaries for musicians and singers in the cruise industry! Weekly salary ranges from $1,200/week to $1,300/week based on experience. Non-union. Performers will be crew status and will have basic safety duties on board. Single accommodations on board provided.

Performance Schedule- The soloist performs up to 4 hours of music per night, with (1) one night off every week. The repertoire is made up of 22 themed sets that spans nearly every genre of popular music. All musicians and singers are expected to perform off-book. Reading music is not required, music is expected to be learned before rehearsal.

All performers must have a valid passport and be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
