Rate: $22/hr for remote pre/post season work, $900/wk while in residence in Saratoga Springs

Additional Resource: Housing & All Meals Provided, Travel Reimbursement

Dates:

• Remote Work beginning: May 16, 2025

• Residency in Saratoga Springs: June 28-July 14, 2025

Job Description:

This seasonal position can expect 15-20 part time remote hours per week pre season. Once in residence in Saratoga Springs a roughly 45 hour work week can be expected with a dedicated day off. The Company Manager will need to be in residence in Saratoga Springs from late June through early July. Housing and all meals are provided during their time in residence as well as travel reimbursement from NYC to Saratoga Springs

The Company Manager will partner with the Producing Director & Associate Producer to oversee the daily needs of artists and staff during their time with the Orchard Project. OP supports a wide variety of artists all with varying needs, being flexible, patient & resourceful will be key.

Position Responsibilities:

• Draft & Update housing allocations & assignments

• Assist in coordinating artist travel to and from Saratoga Springs

• Preparation and maintenance of bedroom/housing set ups throughout the season

• Coordinate housing unit turnover schedule & logistics

• Communicate any cleaning or repair requests with Skidmore College

• Coordinate special events for the artists and staff in residence, including weekly communal meals and at least one additional communal gathering per week

• Manage communal stock of supplies, including toilet paper, cleaning items, etc that should be easily accessible

• Occasionally assist with light cleaning and room turnovers

• Coordinate local travel logistics for all artists and staff in residence

• Communicate resources for day-to-day living, including accommodations, food options, medical needs, postal services, laundering services, local transportation, etc.

• Take the lead in train pickups between Saratoga Springs and Skidmore campus ( 5 min drive)

Qualifications:

• Prior hospitality, artist relations, producing, arts admin and/or event management experience preferred; or the capacity to discuss applicable experience

• Valid Driver鈥檚 License and clean driving record

• Ability to live in residence at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY for in residence dates.

• Lifting of items weighing up to 30lbs

• Ability to creative problem solve in various scenarios and reading, workshop and event scenarios.

• Comfortable with a collaborative, all hands on deck new work incubation summer environment.
