SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in Dobama Theatre's 2025-26 Season (See breakdown).
Actors of any gender identity are encouraged to audition for any role.
Roles are open to any race unless specified in the breakdown.
PREPARATION
Please prepare two contrasting, contemporary monologues of no more than 60 seconds each or two minutes total. Please slate at the beginning of the audition (state your name and what you鈥檙e performing). No musical selections please. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

ELIZABETH SAWYER - (female) 50s/60s. An outcast.
SCRATCH - (male) 20s /early 30s. The devil.
SIR ARTHUR BANKS - (male) 50s/60s. A wealthy and powerful man.
CUDDY BANKS - (male) 20s/early 30s. Sir Arthur鈥檚 son, painfully shy, a morris-dancer. He is secretly in love with Frank (and also in hate.)
FRANK THORNEY - (male) 20s/early 30s. A confident and successful young man, charming and ruthless. His ambition knows no bounds.

EMILIO - He/Him, any ethnicity, mid to late 30s. A Berlin-based installation artist who has spent the last two years becoming accustomed to being a father, or as he would describe it, his 鈥淐OVID Project.鈥�
CAITLIN - She/Her, any ethnicity, mid to late 30s. A stepmother to the children of a well-known congressman. Death pluralizes itself in her life through a string of multiple miscarriages.
URSULA - She/Her, any ethnicity, mid to late 30s, visually impaired. The residue of her grandmother鈥檚 passing and a failed surgical attempt to save her eye has left her with a hesitancy for life, so much so that she refuses to attend the twenty-year reunion.
MARYANN - She/Her, any ethnicity, mid to late 30s. A derma surgeon whose marriage to a resentful general surgeon has perceivably driven her from a 鈥渟traightedge鈥� identity to a drinking habit that is cause for worry.
FRANCISCO - He/Him, any ethnicity, mid to late 30s. A medically discharged military serviceman. His accident has left him with seizure-inducing PTSD.
