DESCRIPTION

The Growing Stage is seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher/Musical Director for our Summer Arts Day Camp! This role involves leading engaging music instruction and overseeing the musical aspects of our camp show.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach vocal warm-ups, techniques, and musical styles.

  • Teach songs, lead musical games, and group singing activities.

  • Collaborate with fellow teaching artists to help develop the camp production.

  • Mentor and inspire young performers in their musical growth.

  • Provide piano accompaniment for the camp show (required)

Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching music and working with children (ages 5-14) in a camp or educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of vocal techniques and musical direction.

  • Ability to play piano proficiently for classes and performances.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for fostering a fun and creative learning environment.
