About Us:
At The Table Read Co., we want to support emerging theatre voices through intimate readings, feedback, and a collaborative space to grow a writers work from the page to the stage. We are a NEW company and our goal is to take projects (in whatever stage it is at) and provide a cast, space and opportunity to hear it and possibly see it on its feet. We want to use our theatrical community to create opportunities for each other and uplift new writers together.

The Role:
We鈥檙e looking for a highly organized and creative individual to join our small team as a Personal Assistant / Data Entry / Social Media Guru. This is a hybrid role for someone excited to be involved with the behind-the-scenes world of producing new theatrical work. This will begin as a part-time role (5 hours a week MAX) and can build into something more long term as the company grows.
This is ideally for a creative in NYC who wants to network, build experience and be apart of growing new works.
Responsibilities include:

- Supporting the lead producer with scheduling, inbox organization, and project tracking.
- Assisting with data entry (contact databases, grant spreadsheets, event RSVPs, etc.)
- Light social media support (posting updates, archiving photos, promoting readings).
- Basic script and materials organization. Including responding to emails with actors/writers.
Who You Are:
- Ideally, you have a background in theatre (actor, writer, director, designer, or producer!)
- Extremely detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable with task-based work
- Familiar with tools like Google Drive, Instagram, and Canva (or willing to learn)
- Excited by new work development and open to growing with a young company
- Based in NYC or able to travel occasionally for in-person readings / meetings.
