DESCRIPTION

Seeking a stage manager for I.R.D Productions performance of Blinded by Faith. This is a new original play, and these performances will be used as workshop performances for further development of the script. This show will be showcased as part of New York City鈥檚 Summer Fest Theater Festival and all performances will take place at Hudson Guild Theater.

Rehearsals are minimal and will only be 4 days a week, Sunday-Wednesday in the evening time at A.R.T Rehearsal Spaces in NYC.

Performance Dates- June 9^th @ 4:00pm (Monday), June 14^th @ 12:00pm (Saturday), and

June 15^th @ 3:30pm (Sunday)

Pay for this job is a onetime stipend payment of 200.00

Synopsis:
Blinded by Faith tells the captivating story of the negative effects of gay conversion therapy and how damaging it is to the mental, and physical health of individuals who undergo this type of treatment. Some of the key themes this play touches on is religion, It also highlights issues of depression, and suicide and how these are all major components of this kind of therapy.
