DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Technical Coordinator for our summer entertainment festival, in Sterling, NY. This person will coordinate all site-specific technical concerns for festival entertainers, and perform design and construction on performance stages, sets, and show props.

鈥淭he Wyldewood Players鈥� is a company of 30 improv comics and classically trained actors who turn their imaginations loose in a 35-acre interactive environment. Nine straight hours of Shakespearian antics, interactive scenarios, and street performances in a little village that you鈥檒l swear came right out of the English countryside.

鈥� Contract runs May 29^th 鈥� August 21^st.

鈥� Weekly salary $750, for 12 weeks.

鈥� Loft-style, on-site housing included.

鈥� 2 weeks pre-rehearsal; 3 weeks rehearsal; 7 weeks performance.

鈥� Performances Sat.鈥檚 & Sun.鈥檚 only, limited rehearsals mid-week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Coordinator鈥檚 duties include: design and construction on performance stages and sets. Maintain entertainment's use of Festival facilities including: stages, actor housing, and kitchen house. Assist Production Manager with stage management of Wyldewood Players shows.

Actively seeking candidates who fit the following criteria:

鈥� Experience in light carpentry and props fabrication.

鈥� Comfortable working outdoors.

鈥� Able to safely lift and carry up to 50lbs.

鈥� Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

鈥� Valid driver's license.

鈥� Must have car.
