Nancy Giles, the comedian and contributor to CBS Sunday Morning, will interview five celebrity guests before a live audience in New York City December 6 for the podcast In Your Face鈥擭ew York.
Giles鈥� guests will include Judy Klam, author of the book The Stars In Our Eyes鈥攁bout America鈥檚 obsession with celebrity culture鈥擭icole Krauss (author of the novel Forest Dark); Julian Velard (pianist/singer-songwriter and regular on NPR鈥檚 Ask Me Another); Jonathan Santlofer (best-selling crime novelist); and Eugenia Zukerman (flutist and writer); and WNYC's Brian Lehrer.
Free egg creams will be served by Brooklyn Seltzer Boys. The monthly podcast showcases New York City鈥檚 鈥渦nparalleled array of people, cultures, attractions, and stories.鈥�
The 7:30 PM podcast will originate at Merkin Concert Hall, 129 West 67th Street in Manhattan. Tickets for cost $25鈥�$35; $20 student tickets are available in person with ID. Previous episodes have featured Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn鈥攚atch her sing "Manhattan" at her appearance in the video to the right鈥攁ctor Bob Balaban, and New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast.
