Actor and motivational speaker DeVon Franklin will bring his solo show Be True: My Journey from Breakdown to Breakthrough to Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre next month. It will run at the downtown theatre for three performances: July 18, 19, and 20. The performance will also be recorded for later release as an Audible Original.
In the deeply personal solo show, Franklin will blend spiritual insight, raw emotional honesty, and theatrical storytelling to share his evolution through one of the most difficult chapters of his life. In a departure from the pulpit and silver screen, Franklin opens the door to his most intimate truths, from the pain of public heartbreak to the clarity of personal rebirth.
