Based on the 1992 animated Disney film, Aladdin was adapted to the stage and opened on Broadway March 20, 2014, with several additional songs. Produced by , Aladdin features music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar winner (, , ), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner (Beauty and the Beast, ), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner (, ) and four-time Tony Award nominee (), with a book by Beguelin.
As on Broadway, the tour will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner ().
