Finishing up her media tour for Mary Poppins Returns, in theatres December 19, Emily Blunt visited The Late Show With Stephen Colbert with a lighthearted and candid interview.
鈥淚 was really into Bert from the original. Come on. Multi-talented. Could play any instrument, could draw, sweep your chimney鈥攊f you know what I mean...Disney is loving this,鈥� she said with a laugh.
Having made her movie musical debut in Into the Woods as The Baker鈥檚 Wife, Blunt was asked to take on the role of the beloved British nanny by director-choreographer Rob Marshall (Chicago, Nine).
