International News Initial Casting Revealed for Imposter 22 at London's Royal Court

Molly Davies' play was co-created by its seven neurodivergent performers, alongside director Hamish Pirie.

Initial casting has been revealed for Molly DaviesImposter 22, a "whodunnit" inspired by the barriers that neurodivergent individuals experience and the politics surrounding the neurodivergent experience. 

The play will run at London's Royal Court Theatre's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs September 23鈥揙ctober 14.

Inspired by an idea from Royal Court Associate Director Hamish Pirie, who will also direct the production, Imposter 22 was co-created and developed by the seven neurodivergent performers who will act in the piece through a five-year-long workshop process alongside writer Davies. 

The performers and co-creators include Kirsty Adams, Cian Binchy, Housni Hassan, Dayo Koleosho, Stephanie Newman, Lee Phillips, and Charlene Salter. Anna Constable will serve as an alternate to Newman. Further casting will be announced.

The production will be staged with the sensory needs of neurodivergent audience members in mind, and several performances will be offered with specific accessibility accommodations, with a captioned performance October 12, a British Sign Language performances October 13, and an audio described performance October 14.
