Tony winner Kelli O'Hara will host The Stuttering Association for the Young (SAY)'s 23rd annual benefit gala June 2. The event will be held at New York's Edison Ballroom.
Among the honorees representing Broadway are Tony nominee Richard Kind and Tony-winning composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal). Also set to be honored are Survivor contestant Mitch Guerra and SAY board member Shachar G. Scott.
Proceeds from the event will help SAY provide vital programming for kids and teens who stutter, including Camp SAY, Camp SAY Across the USA, Speech Therapy, Confident Voices, and the Washington, D.C.-based SAY: DC.
Past recipients of honors from the organization include Freestyle Love Supreme, Wayne Brady, Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann, BBDO, Thomas Kail, Joe Moglia, Kelli O鈥橦ara, Jay Badame and Linda D鈥橝lessandro, Marcia and Bill Withers, and George Springer.
