Mark O'Rowe's Reunion will make its London premiere at the Kiln Theatre September 11-October 11, with much of the cast from the earlier staging in Ireland reprising their performances. Opening night will be September 17, with O'Rowe again directing.
Reprising their earlier work will be Ian-Lloyd Anderson as Aaonghus, Venetia Bowe as Janice, Stephen Brennan as Felix, Leonard Buckley as Ciaran, Simone Collins as Holly, Desmond Eastwood as Stuart, and Catherine Walker as Gina. They'll be newly joined by Peter Corboy as Maurice and Kate Gilmore as Marilyn, with further casting to be announced.
The work, about a family gathered on an island off the west coast of Ireland whose tensions are brought to the surface when an unexpected visitor arrives, premiered at Galway International Arts Festival in 2024, and played a later run at Gaiety Theatre, part of the Dublin Theatre Festival the same year. The upcoming London run will be followed by a return to the Gaiety October 21-November 2.
The complete creative team from the earlier stagings will also reprise their work, including set designer Francis O鈥機onnor, lighting designer Sin茅ad McKenna, costume designer Joan O鈥機lery, and sound designer Aoife Kavanagh.
"I am absolutely delighted that Reunion will be seen by its first London audiences this September," says O'Rowe in a statement. "The Kiln is such a beautiful, intimate space, and I can't wait to see how the show plays there before we return to the joyful expanse of the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, and hopefully beyond."
