The Actors' Equity Foundation has announced that playwright and solo show artist Nancy Daly will receive the 2025 Patrick Quinn Award.
The honor will be presented to Daly at a June 23 ceremony at the Green Fig in Manhattan.
Named for late Actors' Equity Association President Patrick Quinn, the award recognizes individuals who work to better the lives of actors and stage managers. The annual recipient is chosen by a panel and receives a crystal piece and $1,000.
Daly was selected for tenure as a member of Actors' Equity's National Council for many years and for her service as a strike captain during the recent SAG-AFTRA strike. She is also acknowledged for her efforts in raising awareness and funds in the arts community for Alzheimer鈥檚 and dementia, founding the only non-corporate grassroots national team for the Walk to End Alzheimer鈥檚, Actors & Artists Unite 2 End Alzheimer's, which has raised over $380,000 for the Alzheimer鈥檚 Association.
