It was recently announced that SpongeBob is ready to make his Main Stem debut. While the role has already been cast β€� though not announced β€� °λ΅ΊΜεΣύ.com thought it might be fun to poll its readers to see which actor they thought would be best suited to live in a pineapple under the sea in The SpongeBob Musical.

Josh Grisetti recently made his Broadway debut as Marty Kaufman in ! He is set to appear in the Japanese premiere of Prince of Broadway at Tokyo's Theatre Orb beginning Oct. 23. Before heading overseas, he will perform his solo concert, Don't Bother, I'm Here, at 54 Below Sept. 23-24. Grisetti's easy tenor and great comedic timing would make an excellent SpongeBob.

Rob McClure, who wowed audiences with his comedic skills as Charlie in Chaplin, recently appeared as Jack Singer in Broadway's short-lived . He will next be seen as Tim Allgood in the 2016 production of . His physical comedy skills and high-energy performances would make him an ideal SpongeBob.

Jason Gotay has appeared on Broadway as Randall in and in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. He recently appeared as Jack in Into the Woods at the Muny and as a lost boy in NBC's Peter Pan Live. Gotay would make an excellent SpongeBob because of his youthful energy and strong rock tenor voice.

Daniel Quadrino is currently a member of the cast of Broadway's and has previously been seen in and . He also performed in 54 Below's Broadway Loves Sam Smith concert. Quadrino is also a worthy contender for the role of SpongeBob because of his excellent dancing skills and whimsical energy.

Stage and screen star Andrew Rannells was most recently on Broadway as the internationally ignored rock star Hedwig in . He is best known for creating the role of Elder Price in , for which he received a Tony nomination, and was also seen in Broadway's Hairspray and Jersey Boys. He appeared on the television series "The New Normal" and is a series regular on "Girls." Rannells' rangy tenor and his comedic talent would make him an ideal SpongeBob.
