鈥淲e are so thrilled to bring Pretty Perfect Lives to life and to create theatre that is accessible for young people, by young people,鈥 said producers Allie Kench and Madison Thompson in an earlier joint statement. 鈥淲e fell in love with Gage鈥檚 script because it was the first time that we felt a piece of theatre explored the nuanced relationship between people and social media with both empathy and understanding of what we need as human beings. We hope that those who may be intrigued by, or have complicated relationships with, social media find humor and comfort in this exciting and unique play.鈥
Hadestown's Jordan Fisher is serving as the play鈥檚 executive producer under his Sora Entertainment banner. Co-producers include Carter Kench, Davi Bryan, Happy Recap Productions, and Maxwell Whittington-Cooper.
Performances continue through September 8.
