Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming limited concert engagement of Les Mis茅rables that will be seen in London this summer.

The staging of the musical鈥攑reviously seen in London at the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena鈥攚ill run August 10 through November 30 at the Gielgud Theatre, next door to the current home of Les Mis茅rables at the Queen鈥檚 Theatre.

As previously announced, the cast will be headed by Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Th茅nardier, and Katy Secombe as Madame Th茅nardier. They will be joined by Rob Houchen (The Light in the Piazza, Titanic) as Marius and Bradley Jaden (Wicked, Shrek the Musical) as Enjolras. Jaden is currently playing that role in the London production of Les Miserables. Further casting will be announced.

For three performances a week, the role of Jean Valjean will be played by John Owen-Jones. The artists will be backed by an orchestra of over 65 players.

The original London production, currently at the Queen鈥檚 Theatre (following runs at the Barbican and the Palace Theatre), will play until July 13, when the theatre will close for four months. The restored Queen鈥檚 Theatre will reopen in December with the more recent staging of Les Mis茅rables.

鈥淚 am thrilled that the plan to keep Les Mis茅rables running in London with a staged concert version on Shaftesbury Avenue during the enforced closure period has attracted such a stellar cast, with Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Carrie Hope Fletcher, John Owen Jones, Matt Lucas and Katy Secombe, who all have a very close personal connection to the history of the show,鈥 said producer Cameron Mackintosh in an earlier statement. 鈥淥f course I am a bit miserable that Michael, the gorgeous young actor that created the student Marius in the original production, is now for the first time old enough to play the implacable inspector Javert, an amazing match for Alfie鈥檚 career defining portrayal of Jean Valjean.鈥
