Ted Lasso star Brendan Hunt is presenting his solo show The Movement You Need at SoHo Playhouse through November 7. The work sees Hunt chronicling his long-established love for The Beatles and their music, and the role their music has played in major moments throughout his life.
Raised by a single mother, Hunt's complicated relationship her was bound together by the glue of one common interest: a shared love for The Beatles. In 2022, while filming Ted Lasso, Hunt suddenly found himself moments away from meeting Sir Paul McCartney, but when it came down to it, he held his tongue. In this solo show, Hunt reveals all the words he didn't say, and all the stories he didn't share.
