Emmy Award winner originated the role of Hook when the musical arrived on Broadway this past spring. Grammer was announced for a summer hiatus from the production, with plans for the actor to return in mid-September. Representatives for the production announced Sept. 18 that Mann, a veteran of Pippin, Les Mis茅rables, Cats and more, would be the show's new villain. He portrays the dual roles of producer Charles Frohman and the fantastical Captain Hook.
Warlow will play his final performance Sept. 27. It is expected that Grammer will return to the production at a later date to be announced.
