DESCRIPTION
Surflight Theatre located in Beach Haven, 2 hours south of NYC at the Jersey Shore is seeking 2 actor musicians for the roles of Joe B Maudlin and Jerry Allison.

Seeking:
Joe B. Mauldin. Male. Strong Bass player, both upright acoustic and electric Bass Guitar. Part of Buddy's band, the Crickets. Actor needs to be able to sing harmonies well while playing Bass. Bass "acrobatics" are needed (playing while lying on back, standing on the bass while playing, holding bass like a guitar and playing, etc.) Plays ages 19-22
Jerry Allison. Male. Strong Drummer. Part of Buddy's band, the Crickets. Actor needs to be able to sing harmonies well while playing drums. A bit of a joker. Plays ages 19-22.

Music in the show is all from the Buddy Holly catalogue, Chantilly Lace and La Bamba.
