SYNOPSIS Sloane isn't sure why exactly her husband Timothy brought home a probably dangerous drifter with a knife, but she doesn鈥檛 like it. Of course, it's hard to focus when her wealthy neighbor keeps dropping by to steal anything not nailed down. And then things get violent. Bleeding Hearts is a breakneck, pitch black farce about the disappearing middle class & how people forget to put themselves in each others' shoes.
SEEKING:
SLOANE BURKE 40-50 She/her Timothy鈥檚 wife, high strung, opinionated, not afraid to use sarcasm as a weapon, a restless sleeper, pent up and frustrated in her marriage.
TIMOTHY BURKE 40-50, He/Him Sloane鈥檚 husband, earnest, a go getter, confident in his opinions, maybe a bit na茂ve about consequences but mostly a good guy, also a foodie.
鈥淥LD BLINDY鈥 30-50, he/him. Not actually old, all muscle and bone, bare feet, tattered clothing, with a blindfold of scrap; he鈥檚 bearded, dirty, bloody, & holding a large knife.
FELICIA REED-WALKER 50-60 she/her, something of a snooty femme fatale, but also rich beyond measure; this fact does not stop her from being a rampant kleptomaniac.
GRIFF O鈥橞RIEN 20-30, he/him, Sloane鈥檚 brother, he鈥檚 a chipper poster child for wanderlust and all that鈥檚 romantic about taking zero responsibility for life decisions.

WALTER FRANZ 50s, he/him. A successful doctor. Victor鈥檚 estranged brother, who hasn鈥檛 seen his family in a long long time. He is a cynic, who is full of secrets and unhealed wounds.
