Elevator Repair Service's new work presents the company鈥檚 take on Anton Chekhov鈥檚 The Seagull. The piece reimagines Chekhov鈥檚 classic drama by blurring the line between a play and a frank chat with the audience. Actors become characters becoming actors becoming characters and truth is twisted into lies and, ultimately, into a truthful rendering of the text. The performance features ERS鈥檚 signature choreography and a richly layered sound design.
