The Shubert brothers partnered with Oliver Morosco to create the Morosco Theatre in 1917. The theatre premiered Arthur Miller鈥檚 Death of a Salesman in 1949 and Tennessee Williams鈥 Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in 1955. The theatre was demolished, along with four other Broadway theatres, in March 1982 to make way for the Marriott Marquis.
