Marti Webb, who succeeded Elaine Paige in the original London production of Evita and subsequently recorded and performed Andrew Lloyd Webber's song cycle Tell Me On a Sunday, joins Tommy Steele (Half a Sixpence) in The Glenn Miller Story, which plays the London Coliseum July 6鈥揂ugust 18.

The cast is completed by Autumn Draper, Charlie Tighe, Devon McKenzie-Smith, Howard Samuels, Holly Rostron, Jessica Ellen, Jordan Oliver, Linal Haft, Myles Brown, Oliver Ramsdale, Siobhan Diffin, Tim Maxwell-Clarke, and Tom Sowinski performing alongside the 16-piece big band.
Glenn Miller was the best-selling recording artist in the world from 1939 to 1943, leading one of the best known big bands. In those four years, he scored 23 No. 1 hits鈥攎ore than Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
This production follows the journey the band leader took to find his unique sound and his subsequent fame and untimely death. Songs include 鈥淚n the Mood,鈥� 鈥淢oonlight Serenade,鈥� 鈥淟ittle Brown Jug,鈥� 鈥淧ennsylvania 6-5000,鈥� 鈥淭uxedo Junction,鈥� and 鈥淐hattanooga Choo Choo.鈥�
