The 20th season of Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw series, celebrating George Bernard Shaw's activist humanitarianism, will continue April 14 at 7 PM with N枚el Coward's Hay Fever at The Players.

Directed by Carl Andress (Ibsen鈥檚 Ghost), the cast will feature Charles Busch (Ibsen鈥檚 Ghost), Jennifer Cody (Ibsen鈥檚 Ghost), Rodd Cyrus (Ragtime), Dan Domingues (A Sherlock Carol), Annie Golden (Into the Woods), Tom Hewitt (Hadestown), Evie Shuckman (Before the Flood), Gingold Artistic Director David Staller (Dear Liar), and Jennifer Van Dyck (Ibsen鈥檚 Ghost).

Set in an English country house in the 1920s, Hay Fever follows the four eccentric members of the Bliss family and their outlandish behavior when they each invite a guest to spend the weekend.

鈥淲e鈥檙e celebrating Gingold鈥檚 20th anniversary by presenting some of our all-time favorite plays with some of our all-time favorite people, including my life-long pal Charles Busch playing one of the 20th century鈥檚 most extravagant Grande Dames,鈥 said GTG Artistic Director Staller in a statement. 鈥淭his particular Coward play has been one of our most requested comedies and, inspired by Charles and our director Carl Andress, I鈥檒l be making my debut acting performance in a Gingold presentation for the first time in 172 Project Shaw events!鈥

The season will continue with Shaw鈥檚 Saint Joan May 12, and Oscar Wilde鈥檚 The Importance of Being Earnest, celebrating New York Pride Week, June 23.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts, and sketches).
