The 2023-2024 Main Mirvish Theatre Subscription Season will feature the North American premiere of In Dreams, the new musical from the creators of the international hit & Juliet.

With a book by David West Read and direction by Luke Sheppard, the musical features the songs of the late Roy Orbison. Performances will begin in September at Toronto's CAA Theatre and continue through December with exact dates and casting to be announced.

Featuring such Orbison hits as "I Drove All Night," "You Got It," "Only the Lonely," " Crying," "Oh, Pretty Woman," and more, In Dreams tells the story of a country-rock singer who invites her old bandmates to join her for 鈥渢he party of a lifetime,鈥 while keeping her true motivations a secret.

The season will launch with the Toronto premiere of the Tony-nominated musical SIX. The Canadian sit-down production will actually begin in August at Edmonton鈥檚 Citadel Theatre before arriving at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre in September.

Also on the bill: Alanis Morissette鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;Jagged Little Pill (October-November at the Princess of Wales), the Jonathan Church-directed revival of 42nd Street (December 2023-January 2024 at the Princess of Wales), the Disney hit Aladdin (February-March at the Princess of Wales), the return of Les Mis茅rables (March-June at the Princess of Wales), and the Canadian premiere of Tina鈥揟he Tina Turner Musical (June-July at a theatre to be announced).
