To close the 25th Anniversary retrospective season of Justin Vivian Bond, Joe鈥檚 Pub has announced a week-long series of special events September 7-11. The Downtown hot spot has been celebrating the icon since last September with monthly shows鈥攂oth revivals and new鈥攁nd the return of Kiki & Herb.
The Golden Age of Justin Vivian Bond, a series of four shows led by Bond, will celebrate the conclusion of the retrospective with a whole new slate of guest stars.
On September 11, Joe鈥檚 Pub will host a finale tribute concert to the performer featuring guests like Sandra Bernhard, Molly Ringwald, Kenny Mellman, Kate Bornstein, Jack Ferver and more.
The evening will benefit and two organizations selected by Bond. Thomas Bartlett is music director.
