According to a show spokesperson, the stage and screen star will return to the new musical this winter, probably in February 2016. An official starting date has yet to be determined.
Grammer was announced for a summer hiatus from the production, with plans for the actor to return in September. The production announced Sept. 18, however, that , a veteran of Pippin, Les Mis茅rables, Cats and more, would be the show's new villain. He began his stint in the dual roles of producer Charles Frohman and the fantastical Captain Hook Sept. 29. Australian stage star played an extended engagement in those roles as well, ending his run Sept. 27.
Best-known for his work on TV's "Cheers" and "Frasier," Grammer has been seen on Broadway in Macbeth, Othello and La Cage aux Folles.
