Half Time, the new musical about professional basketball鈥檚 first-ever aged 60-and-older dance team, officially opens June 12 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs the musical that is based on the 2008 documentary Gotta Dance. Performances continue through July 1.

The musical has a book by Bob Martin and , music by , lyrics by Nell Benjamin, and additional music by the late and Ester Dean.

Half Time arrives at Paper Mill after a 2015 Chicago world premiere under the title Gotta Dance.

Tony nominee Andr茅 De Shields, five-time Emmy nominee , and Tony winner , who were also seen in the 2015 Chicago premiere, return for the Paper Mill production, which also stars Tony Award winner .

The cast also features Haven Burton, Lori Tan Chinn, Nkeki Obi-Melekwe, Nancy Ticotin, Madeleine Doherty, Tracy Jai Edwards, Mary Claire King, Lenora Nemetz, Kay Walbye, Alexander Aguilar, Ken Ard, Sydni Beaudoin, Tami Dahbura, Paula DeLuise, Gabriela Garcia, Talya Groves, Kathryn Kendall, Valton Jackson, Summerisa Bell Stevens, Garrett Turner, and Gayle Turner.
