Film & TV News New Ryan Murphy Series, Feud: Bette and Joan, Sets Premiere Date Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange co-star as, respectively, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

The new Ryan Murphy anthology series Feud: Bette and Joan, which follows the rivalry of film stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford during their time making the 1962 movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, will make its debut on FX March 5 at 10 PM ET, according to .com.

As previously announced, the series stars Susan Sarandon as Davis, Tony winner Jessica Lange as Crawford, Tony winner Catherine Zeta-Jones as Olivia de Havilland, and Sarah Paulson as Geraldine Page. Also in the cast are Jackie Hoffman as Crawford's housekeeper, Mamacita; three-time Tony nominee Alfred Molina as the movie鈥檚 director, Robert Aldrich; Tony nominee Stanley Tucci as studio head Jack Warner; Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper; and Dominic Burgess as Victor Buono.

Oscar winner Kathy Bates is also part of the series, playing late actor Joan Blondell.

鈥淚 wasn鈥檛 interested in just doing this broad, campy [show],鈥� Murphy told EW. 鈥淚 was interested in the idea of sexism, ageism, misogyny. Turning 40, 45, 50 and feeling like you鈥檙e at the height of your powers and people saying, 鈥榃ell, you鈥檙e done.'鈥�
