New production shots are giving us a first look at Amy Berryman's Walden, currently playing Off-Broadway at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater. Opening night is November 7. Take a look at the show in the gallery below.
The Whitney White-directed production features Emmy Rossum (Shameless, The Phantom of the Opera) and Zo毛 Winters (Success, Heroes of the Fourth Turning), who play two estranged sisters struggling to align, joined by Motell Foster (La Cocina, Clickbait, Othello).
Set in the near future, Walden follows Stella (Rossum) and her fianc茅 Bryan (Foster), who are waiting at their cabin for Stella鈥檚 estranged twin sister, Cassie (Winters). Raised by their astronaut father to be NASA scientists, the twins have taken different paths: Cassie has just returned from a successful moon mission, while Stella has left NASA behind. When they reunite, old conflicts reignite, forcing the sisters to choose between staying on Earth or pursuing a future in space.
